The EHS cable is used with a supported wireless headset to allow wireless answering funcitonality (with your Cisco Phone). If your phone has a sidecar the factory EHS cable will not reach – you need an extension cable, which normally runs about $15 bucks. You won’t have time to order and install one – if you want to make a cable you can do so using the info below. The EHS Extension is placed on the cable connecting to the phone’s AUX port – the cable is a 6 conductor rollover cable, you will need a 6 conductor coupler (barrel) on one end.
