I’ve needed to identify which drive array ESXi was installed on and wasn’t sure how to determine this.
In vSphere, select the host you want to check, click Configuration >> Storage then click the Devices button. Review each devcie, looking for the device that includes “Legacy MBR” and “VMware Diagnostic” partition. This should be the device that ESXi is installed on.
