Resolving ‘Failed to login to database’ error in the Historical Reports Client


This error usually occurs when SQL authentication is enabled on the SQL server on the IPCCx/UCCx server. It can be resolved by modifying the hrconfig.ini file on each client workstation that’s running the Cisco Historical Reports client.

Find this section below and change “AUTH=” to “AUTH=1”. Save the file and restart the reporting client:
